Description
CSR for the HR Function: Framing the Issues, Structuring Actions and Reporting
Two days to turn scattered social initiatives into a documented and defensible approach
- 2 days — 14 h
- In-person or virtual
- Foundation
- Up to 6 participants
Executive management hands the corporate social responsibility file to HR along with the social topics: workplace equality, working conditions, inclusion. Requests from clients and main contractors arrive as questionnaires and no one knows what evidence to base the answers on. Initiatives exist but are neither connected nor documented.
These 14 hours give the HR function the reference points needed to take ownership of the subject. Participants position the social dimension of the approach, take stock of initiatives already under way, build a prioritised roadmap and then prepare the supporting evidence expected in external requests and internal reports.
Learning objectives
- Position the contribution of the HR function within a corporate social responsibility approach
- Take stock of social initiatives already under way and link them to formal commitments
- Prioritise the topics to address according to their impact and the resources available
- Assemble the supporting evidence expected by external stakeholders
- Involve managers and employee representatives in the approach
