Description
Difficult Situations in Training: Preventing Tension, Setting Boundaries and Recovering
Two days to address the behaviours that derail a session without losing the rest of the group
- 2 days — 14 h
- In-person or virtual
- Intermediate
- Up to 6 participants
A participant who challenges everything, a group sent on a course against their will, an exchange that turns sour between two colleagues: these situations are not resolved through goodwill alone. A trainer who simply endures them loses the thread, the authority and the attention of the other participants. A trainer who overreacts breaks the dynamic of the group.
These 14 hours are designed for experienced trainers. The work focuses on the origin of tensions, on what can be prevented from the very start of a session, and on the graduated responses to apply depending on the behaviour observed. The most common situations are role-played and then analysed, so that each participant broadens their repertoire of possible reactions.
Learning objectives
- Analyse the origin of a tension observed within a training group
- Establish a working framework at launch that prevents part of the difficulties
- Graduate your response to disruptive individual behaviour
- Handle challenges to the content or to the trainer's legitimacy
- Restore the group's work after an incident during a session
What makes this programme different
