Facilitating a Virtual Classroom: Capture Attention, Drive Participation, Close Well

Virtual classrooms too often turn into a lecture delivered to switched-off cameras. The trainer speaks alone, has no idea who is still following, and only discovers the drop-off at assessment time. The interaction features are all there, but they remain unused because the session was never designed for the screen.

This three-hour workshop is itself delivered in a virtual classroom and serves as a working model of facilitation. Participants rewrite an in-person sequence for remote delivery, facilitate in front of the group, run breakout rooms, and build the right reflexes when technical incidents are deliberately triggered during the session.

Practical details

Before the programme
Online positioning questionnaire. Your development objectives are shared with the trainer, who tailors the practical case studies to your context.
Teaching methods
Theoretical input, workshops and practical case studies. Digital course materials and method sheets provided.
Assessment
Multiple-choice tests and role-play exercises. Assessment of learning at the start and end of the programme, with immediate and 60-day follow-up evaluations.
After the programme
One year of access to the e-learning platform. Self-assessment of the skills acquired and a 30-day follow-up session with your trainer.
