Description
HR Digital Transformation: Framing, Tooling and Supporting Adoption
Two days to lead HR digital projects without reducing transformation to a simple choice of tool
- 2 days — 14 h
- In-person or virtual
- Intermediate
- Up to 6 participants
A new absence management system goes live and line managers carry on using their spreadsheets. Data is entered twice. Projects follow one another without the HR team's actual working practices changing, and the promise of time saved is never borne out.
These 14 hours are designed for HR professionals in post. They cover the framing of a digital project, the redesign of processes before any tooling decision, and the support given to users. Participants also work on the effects of digitalisation on employee personal data, on the role of the line manager, and on the capabilities the HR function needs to build.
Learning objectives
- Map an existing HR process and identify breaks in the chain
- Frame a tooling project on the basis of the service outcome expected
- Formulate functional requirements that a vendor can work with
- Build a support plan for users and line managers
- Identify the data protection obligations carried by an HR project
- Assess the effects of the project on how the team organises its work
