Description
Process Communication Model: Read Profiles, Adapt Your Message and Step Out of Stress
Understand why the same message works perfectly with one person and raises tension with another
- 3 days — 21 h
- In-person or virtual
- Foundation
- Up to 6 participants
Some working relationships become tense for no visible reason. One colleague finds the instruction vague while another finds it patronising. The same friction returns with the same people, and everyone puts the disagreement down to personality. In practice, what blocks the exchange is often the communication channel used and the needs each person is trying to meet at work.
Three days to read personality structure, recognise stress signals before escalation and choose the register that gets the message across. The work is based on an individual personality inventory and on real situations brought by participants.
Learning objectives
- Identify the six personality types and their perception modes
- Position your own personality structure from your individual inventory
- Identify the psychological needs that motivate each counterpart
- Choose the communication channel suited to the person in front of you
- Recognise the three degrees of stress and their associated behaviours
- Intervene on miscommunication to restore a productive exchange
