Description

Professional Co-Development: Facilitating, Questioning and Capturing Insight in a Peer Group

Work on your real professional situations with the support of a structured peer group

  • 1 day — 7 h
  • In-person or virtual
  • Foundation
  • Up to 6 participants

Peer discussions often drift into a rapid exchange of advice. Everyone recounts their own experience, the person who raised a difficulty leaves with ten contradictory suggestions, and nothing changes in practice, for want of a framework that organises listening before the search for solutions.

This one-day programme introduces professional co-development through practice. You take part in a complete session based on a real situation, you hold the roles of client, consultant and facilitator in turn, and you then prepare the launch of a group within your own organisation.

Learning objectives

  • Position co-development in relation to other forms of peer exchange
  • Present a professional situation for group consultation
  • Hold the consultant role during a session
  • Facilitate the successive stages of a co-development session
  • Prepare the launch of a sustainable group within your organisation

What makes this programme different

A complete session is experienced live using a real situation brought by a participant
Each participant holds the three roles of client, consultant and facilitator during the day
The schedule and ground rules of the future group are drafted before the end of the day
