Description

Remote Working: Structuring the Hybrid Week, Tracking Activity and Keeping People Connected

One day to lead a team where part of the workforce works from home several days a week

  • 1 day — 7 h
  • In-person or virtual
  • Foundation
  • Up to 6 participants

Remote working was rolled out quickly and practices vary from one manager to another. Some multiply check-in points while others lose sight of the work in progress. Key information circulates in conversations that absent colleagues cannot access.

One day to organise the work of a hybrid team. You define which activities are best performed remotely and which justify on-site presence. You build a weekly rhythm that everyone can read. You adapt your team rituals and your activity tracking so that you steer without monitoring.

Learning objectives

  • Identify activities suited to remote work and those requiring on-site presence
  • Build a weekly rhythm that is clear to the whole team
  • Adapt team rituals to both on-site and remote participants
  • Track activity through results rather than signs of connection
  • Handle situations involving isolated or hard-to-reach team members
  • Maintain fairness between on-site and remote team members

What makes this programme different

Design of the hybrid rhythm for your own team during the day
Redesign of a mixed meeting with on-site and remote participants
Availability and tracking rules written down and tested on real situations
